It has been nothing but awesome and amazing experiences for hundreds of families and arts lovers within and outside Ikorodu who have been trooping out enmasse to attend the memorable funfair organized by the Oshodi Arts Gallery in lkorodu, to mark the ongoing yuletide season.
The yuletide event, tagged, ‘Lagos Funfair & End Of The Year Party’, which is a collaboration between the Oshodi Arts Gallery and Enis Balloons Entertainment, has been on since December 10th and will run till January 3rd, 2021.
Aside the bouncing castles, swimming pool, table soccer, snooker and other games available for families at the gallery, there are also sections for pop corn, shawarma and other fast food.
There is also opportunity for attendees to tour the Oshodi Arts Gallery facilities to see various art works to their satisfaction while there’s also drawing competition on a daily basis with a lot of gift items for winners.
The event, which has been a discovery for many, particularly as it regards the presence of Oshodi Arts Gallery in lkorodu, is also supported by the Organisation of Party Entertainers of Nigeria (OPEN).
According to Mr Enigbokan Michael, an entertainer in-charge of the funfair, he said that the daily event is all about the season and the need for people to unwind, have a good time with family members and give thanks to God for the preservation of their lives.
“It’s all about the season; bringing families together during the yuletide period after the ugly and challenging year that adversely affected the global village and to thank God for keeping us alive”, he told THE IMPACT.
“Aside the facilities like bouncing castles, swimming pool, table soccer and snooker among others that are made available to engage families that are coming here, they also have the opportunity to visit the gallery.
“Our patrons also provided the opportunity to visit the Oshodi gallery that is hosting the Lagos funfair and those that have been coming have been having wow experiences and we have some families that have come three times because of what they have been seeing”.
Mr Enigbokan, who said that visits to the gallery has been increasing everyday, added that over 600 guests came to the gallery on Christmas day.
Some of the children that spoke with THE IMPACT said that they have never witnessed such facilities, while others said that they had been to many other places but that the Oshodi Arts Gallery is a wonderful experience and can compete with many other great galleries in the country.
Entry fee to the gallery is #1,000 while amazing and lasting experience awaits the prospective attendees.
